SYMPOSIUM and SHOWCASE

16th December 2013, De Monfort University, Leicester

Invitation to submit Expressions of Interest to contribute to Sessions during the Event 

Closing date for EOIs 1600hrs Friday 18th October 2013

 Following consultations in Leicester, Hatfield and Edinburgh as well as our on-line survey we are pleased to announce that the Connected Communities Heritage Network SYMPOSIUM and SHOWCASE will take place in Leicester on 16th December 2013.

This call is for expressions of interest (EOI) to contribute sessions during day in the form of a paper presentation, workshop, exhibit, poster or similar activity. This will be a great opportunity for you to present your work to a wider audience.

SYMPOSIUM themes include though are not exclusive to the following:

creating a long lasting project legacy for projects, sustaining projects when the funding runs out, demonstrating project impact, methods for conducting project evaluation, community/school engagement, the use of oral histories, the potential of digital technologies and future funding opportunities and possible collaborations.

N.B. You can submit several EOIs if you wish to contribute to more than one activity.

Please also note it is hoped that bursaries will be available to support the travel costs of successful participants.

The closing date for EOIs is 1600hrs on Friday 18th October. Please refer to the attached call document for details of how to apply, ensuring that your expression of interest is submitted to heritagenetwork@dmu.ac.uk by the deadline, quoting ‘SYMPOSIUM and SHOWCASE EOI’ in the subject line.
