New Health Humanities Award Launched

The AHRC has launched a new national award to celebrate the contribution of the arts and humanities to improving healthcare, health and wellbeing, supported by the Wellcome Trust.

The Health Humanities Medal will celebrate those academics, health professionals, volunteer, and community organisations across the country who are using arts and humanities research and methodology to look at how we can improve the quality of life and wellbeing of the population. The award has been developed by Professor Paul Crawford, principal investigator of the Connected Communities ‘Creative Practice as Mutual Recovery’ Project.
