The project is a Collaborative Doctoral Award (2012-2015) being undertaken by Martin Simmons, based in the Information School at the University of Sheffield in collaboration with Derbyshire County Council Culture and Community Services department. The overall aim of the project is to increase understanding of how people in Derbyshire value culture and how these forms of value can be conceptualised.
