Local historian Duncan Scott talks about the dairy heritage of Liverpool at the Memories of Mr. Seel’s Garden final event at the Bluecoat Centre in Liverpool. The talk draws on the research Duncan did for his book Urban Cowboys: The Lost World of Doorstep Milk. Scott talks about uncovering cow houses in Liverpool and includes a silent film of the last morning that cows were driven off to the farm where Joe Capstick Jr., the last cow house keeper, lived in 1975.
