Kate Miller and Peter Insole, the two researchers behind the Know Your Bristol project, talk about the makings of their project and the impact it has had on the community. Know your Bristol, a partnership between the University of Bristol and Bristol City Council, aims to enable people to explore local history and culture in Bristol through the eyes of the community. Participants explore local heritage and culture through their memories and the images and objects they have collected over the years. The project has gathered 750 images and oral histories that help capture the nuanced history of Bristol.
