Language as Talisman: Park Images

Photo gallery of the Language as Talisman project. The Park images showcase the Precious Words project, which was part of Language as Talisman.The Language as Talisman project explores how communities use and adapt language to define, express and protect themselves. Our focus is to explore how knowledge can be co-produced and how this new knowledge can be disseminated. Ideas cross between different communities. Children wrote their precious words in special writing in the park and put them up. This was organised by Jane Hodson, School of English, and Cassie Limb, artist.
